Tantalus Vineyards

The founding vineyard site dates to 1927; current ownership from 2004. Focuses on riesling (benchmark Old Vines planted 1978) and pinot noir from the east bench above Okanagan Lake. Minimal intervention, cool fermentation temperatures, no fining.

David Paterson's Old Vines Riesling is the benchmark BC riesling; Tantalus is the estate that most consistently demonstrates BC's capacity for aromatic whites at the international level.
