Evening Land Vineyards' estate pinot noir from the Seven Springs Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills, one of Oregon's most site-expressive programs. The Seven Springs estate, with its multiple blocks of Jory volcanic soil at varying elevations, produces a range of single-block bottlings and this estate cuvée that together form a detailed portrait of the Van Duzer wind-cooled sub-appellation. The cooler temperatures here produce pinot noirs of almost Vosne-Romanée-like texture: lush but precise, deeply coloured for the climate, with rare aromatic complexity.
