Skaha Bench

The benchland flanking Skaha Lake between Penticton and Okanagan Falls — a transition zone between the Naramata's cool elegance and the southern desert intensity. Coarse, free-draining soils over glacial gravel, strong direct sun, and the moderating presence of Skaha Lake produce wines of warmth and textural generosity. Merlot, syrah, and chardonnay are the benchmark varieties.
