Besini Khvanchkara PDO Racha-Lechkhumi Georgia

Racha-Lechkhumi Wine Region, Georgia
The legendary semi-sweet red from Racha's mountain valley; Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli from limestone-slate soils at 600m. Natural residual sugar from arrested cold fermentation; ruby colour with notes of wild cherry, raspberry, dried rose, and mountain herbs. 40–60g residual sugar but the high natural acidity maintains balance. Stalin's wine — history in a glass.
