About this product
South Africa's finest Syrah — from Boekenhoutskloof's granite-soil estate at 400m in the Franschhoek mountains. Cool mountain climate produces Syrah of Northern Rhône character: dark olive, violet, charred meat, black pepper (rotundone), and iron mineral. Aged 18 months in French barriques (30% new). Exceptional freshness for a South African red; ages magnificently for 15–20 years.
