The benchmark for Moulin-à-Vent's exceptional aging potential — Gamay from the Rochegrès parcel's deepest manganese-rich granite soils, aged in small oak barrels. Dark cherry, blackberry, iron mineral, crushed granite, violet, and a tannic structure that demands patience but rewards magnificently over 10-15 years. At its peak resembles aged Vosne-Romanée — the most Burgundian expression of Beaujolais.
