About this product
One of the wine world's most distinctive and celebrated bottles. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan from ancient vineyards, fermented in cement and aged three years in French oak before release, then held further in bottle. The result is deliberately oxidative, complex, and unlike anything else — aromas of dried rose, leather, orange peel, dark cherry, tobacco, and spice. Wines from great years (1970, 1972, 2016) can age 50+ years.
Pairing intelligence
complement
The quintessential Lebanese pairing — regional lamb with Château Musar. Za'atar and sumac echo the wine's dried herb and spice complexity, while the lamb's richness is matched by the wine's substantial tannins and depth.
