Domaine de la Pépière Monnières-Saint Fiacre Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Cru

Muscadet Sèvre et Maine AOC, France
From the gabbro volcanic rock of the Monnières-Saint Fiacre communal cru — one of Muscadet's seven recognised Crus. After extended sur lie ageing (18–24 months on lees), the wine achieves a complexity rare for the variety: pale gold with aromas of lemon curd, crushed oyster shell, freshly baked bread, and volcanic mineral depth. The palate is textured and full with electric acidity and a persistent mineral-saline finish.
complement
The definitive Muscadet pairing — the wine's saline mineral character mirrors the oyster's brine; gabbro terroir's volcanic mineral echoes the oyster's oceanic depth. An inseparable regional tradition.

complement
Mussels and Muscadet is Brittany's most celebrated food-wine pairing — the wine's acidity and marine mineral character are calibrated for the briny sweetness of Atlantic mussels

complement
Loire river fish with the local Loire white is the regional tradition; the wine's acidity and mineral freshness balance the richness of this fatty river fish
