Erik Banti is one of Scansano's pioneer quality producers. The Riserva spends 12 months in French and Slavonian oak, adding depth and complexity to the coastal Sangiovese character. Dark cherry with notes of dried rose petal, tobacco leaf, and vanilla from oak ageing. Full-bodied with firm, well-integrated tannins and a long, savoury finish.
