About this product
From old-vine Rufete on Arribes's granite canyon terraces — one of Spain's most distinctive indigenous red varieties. Translucent ruby (Rufete never achieves density) with aromas of wild cherry, dried rose, violet, and the distinctive granite-mineral note of the Duero canyon. The palate is light to medium-bodied with Burgundy-like elegance, vibrant natural acidity, and a long mineral finish — an entirely different register from mainstream Spanish reds.

complement
Arribes's light, aromatic Rufete can match suckling lamb's delicacy better than heavier Castilian reds; the granite mineral note echoes the canyon landscape of the lamb's grazing territory
