Álvaro Palacios L'Ermita Priorat DOCa

Priorat DOCa, Spain
Spain's most celebrated and expensive wine — from a 4.5-hectare terrace of century-old Garnacha vines on primary llicorella (black slate) in Gratallops. The wine achieves a complexity that transcends the appellation's powerful mainstream: translucent deep ruby with aromas of mineral-sliced dark cherry, wild rosemary, graphite, iron ore, and the distinctive 'petroleum' note of very old Garnacha on llicorella. The palate is simultaneously massive and precise — a structural paradox of power with Burgundian mineral delicacy. Built for 20–30 years.
complement
