Marcel Deiss Bergheim
Alsace, France
About this product
Bergheim is Deiss's most accessible terroir wine — a field blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris co-planted and co-fermented on limestone-clay soils. The wine expresses place over variety: the soil's warmth and richness come through regardless of which grape variety dominates in a given vintage. It represents Deiss's philosophy that Alsace wines should speak of terroir first.
