Philosophy
Yangarra Estate is McLaren Vale's leading organic and biodynamic producer, farming 80-year-old Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre vines on ancient ironstone and sandy loam soils. Winemaker Peter Fraser's focus on old-vine Grenache has produced some of Australia's most celebrated single-vineyard expressions.

Yangarra's Old Vine Grenache is considered Australia's finest expression of this variety — complex, perfumed, and rivalling great Châteauneuf-du-Pape in style and substance. Their biodynamic viticulture has also inspired a wider sustainability movement in the region.
