The only distillery in Scotland that performs every production step on-site: floor malting (using locally sourced Scottish barley), mashing, fermenting (wooden washbacks), 2.5-times distillation, maturing (in Campbeltown warehouses), bottling, and labelling — all on the same site. Family-owned by the Mitchell family since 1828. The distinctiveness of Springbank lies in this completeness — no outside influence on the spirit at any stage.
Springbank 10-year is arguably Scotland's best whisky per pound of quality. The combination of saline Campbeltown character, complete on-site production, and independent family ownership produces a whisky of unique integrity. Demand far exceeds supply.
