Manuel Manzaneque established Finca Élez in 1987 on a single 1,500-hectare estate in the Sierra del Relumbrar foothills — the highest and coolest part of La Mancha at 1,000m. The winery focuses on Cencibel (Tempranillo) expressing the extreme continental character of this microclimate.
