Anne-Claude Leflaive (died 2015) was one of the most important figures in late-20th-century Burgundy. Under her direction, biodynamics transformed the estate's quality — the wines became richer, more complex, and more defined. Her Montrachet is typically the most expensive white wine from the appellation.
