The de Saint-Exupéry family (relatives of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of The Little Prince) have farmed the Tiregand estate in Pécharmant since the 17th century, producing structured reds from clay-limestone soils above the Dordogne with the gravity and patience of generational custodians.

Château de Tiregand is Pécharmant's most prestigious address — producing structured, age-worthy Merlot-dominant reds that are regularly cited as the best Bergerac can offer. The Grand Millésime is considered a genuine rival to modest Pomerol and Saint-Émilion in quality and character.
