Stefano Inama has been a leading voice in the Soave quality movement since the 1990s — both producing exceptional Soave Classico and challenging the appellation's boundaries with Vulcaia Fumé (unoaked Sauvignon Blanc) and Vin Soave (a barrel-aged Garganega). The estate's Vigneti di Foscarino single-vineyard Soave is a benchmark for what the volcanic terraces can achieve.

Inama is considered one of Italy's most important white wine producers — the Vigneti di Foscarino Soave Classico receives 94-96 points and the Vulcaia Fumé Sauvignon demonstrates the region can produce world-class Sauvignon Blanc. Stefano Inama is credited with helping restore Soave's international reputation.
