Philosophy
One of Nuits-Saint-Georges's most celebrated producers — the Chevillon family farms 13 hectares including 10 Premier Crus. The estate's Les Roncières, Les Cailles, Les Vaucrains, and Les Saint-Georges are among the most consistently brilliant expressions of Nuits. Bertrand Chevillon now manages alongside his father Denis, maintaining the estate's traditional approach: indigenous yeast, old-vine fruit, old barriques.

Robert Chevillon receives 95-99 points from Allen Meadows and Wine Advocate across multiple vintages. The Les Vaucrains is considered the most complete expression of Nuits's power married to mineral precision. The estate's combination of multiple Premier Cru holdings provides a comprehensive map of the village's terroir diversity.
