A family estate farming old Sangiovese vines on Monte Amiata's slopes with minimal chemical intervention. Fermentation in cement vats, ageing in large Slavonian casks, and long maceration times produce wines of great structure and authenticity.

Salustri is Montecucco's most artisan voice — small production, unfussy winemaking, and Sangiovese of genuine volcanic mineral character that rewards cellaring.
