Villa Bucci

Villa Bucci is Verdicchio's most serious producer — farming organically with very low yields, fermenting in large old barrels, and ageing wines on the fine lees for up to a year before release. The Riserva is capable of twenty years' development. Giorgio Grai was the historical consultant who established the estate's reputation.

Villa Bucci's Verdicchio Riserva is considered the finest expression of the grape — a wine of extraordinary mineral complexity, almond-bitterness and longevity that demonstrates Verdicchio's claim to be among Italy's great white varieties.
