Rust en Vrede (literally 'Rest and Peace') on the Helderberg slopes specialises exclusively in red wine, focusing on Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot from granitic mountain soils. The estate flagship — simply called 'Estate' — is consistently one of South Africa's most celebrated red wines.
