Bill Easton established Terre Rouge in 1987 as California's most serious Rhône-variety specialist outside the established zones. Using Amador County's volcanic soils and old vines, the estate produces Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Viognier of genuine complexity and Sierra Foothills mineral character.
