Château Gassier

Provence, France
Night harvest preserves aromatic freshness and guards against oxidation. Direct pressing and cold settling reveal terroir with precision. Concrete vats—historic signature of Maison Gassier—extract the authentic minerality of clay-limestone soils beneath Sainte-Victoire.
In 1982, Anthony Gassier, representing the fourth generation of vinegrowers in the family, purchased the 40 hectares where Chateau Gassier now stands. Not far from Aix-en-Provence sits Gassier's unique site, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire Mountain. Drawing inspiration from the exceptional terroir of Sainte-Victoire, Maison Gassier crafts its cuvées with an artisanal and creative approach.
AllocationChâteau Gassier acquired by Advini (formerly Jeanjean+Laroche merger 2010) in 2004 when Gassier/Jeanjean families partnered. Parent company Advini is family-controlled (Jeanjean + Antoine Leccia). Current succession: Georges Gassier (5th generation since winemaking began late 19th c.; 1982 purchase date applies to this specific property). US importer confirmed as Wilson Daniels via dated source (2015). Regenerative agriculture initiative mentioned in Domaine Gassier/Château de Nages context (different entity in Costières de Nîmes, not Château Gassier Sainte-Victoire); no confirmed regenerative cert for Château Gassier per se—only organic 2016. Production volume not disclosed in sources. Jean Gassier (son) reportedly joining father per some sources but not confirmed on current website. Massanois identified as distributor/retailer, not primary importer. UK/Japan importer data unavailable. No aliases beyond regional naming conventions detected. | Importer overflow captured (importer_other): 'Massanois (distributor)'
