Château Minuty
Provence, France
Philosophy
Hand-harvested fruit fermented in controlled temperature stainless steel, employing the pressurage technique to yield rosés of saline purity and aromatic intensity. The house signature melds finesse, elegance and freshness across pale, mineral-driven rosés and complex whites and reds from schist and clay terroirs overlooking the Gulf.
Reputation
Gabriel Farnet's acquisition and revival of a derelict Napoleonic-era château in 1936 on the Saint-Tropez peninsula initiated a family saga spanning four generations. The estate's resurrection from wartime abandonment through replanting of traditional Provençal varietals established what would become the archetypal expression of Côtes de Provence, garnering classified-growth status in 1955.
