Philosophy

Hand-harvested syrah and white varieties undergo temperature-controlled fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats and egg-shaped cement tanks. The reds age one year divided among cement vats, oak barrels and specialized vessels, bottled unfined and sometimes unfiltered to preserve terroir expression.

Reputation

Founded in 1979 by Charles Tardy in Chanos-Curson at the heart of northern Crozes-Hermitage, the domaine transformed family vineyard holdings from cooperative delivery to estate bottling. François Tardy, the fifth generation of the family's winegrowing heritage, joined his father in the 1990s and now works alongside his wife Anne, converting the property to certified organic viticulture since 2013 while maintaining biodynamic principles.
