Llano Colorado
Mexico
Philosophy
Three generations of the Curis family have cultivated both premium grapes and structured wines reflecting the distinctive terroir of the Pacific-adjacent Valle de San Vicente. The house favors indigenous Spanish varietals—particularly Verdejo—alongside Nebbiolo and classic Bordeaux grapes, employing careful hand-harvest protocols and French oak aging.
Reputation
Llano Colorado emerges from the Antigua Ruta del Vino in San Vicente Ferrer, Baja California, where over seventy years of viticulture by the Curis family has forged a reputation as one of Mexico's most conscientious grape producers, only recently extending their craft into finished wines that honor the region's maritime influence and volcanic soils.
