Reputation

Kyle MacLachlan, native of rural Yakima and acclaimed actor, established Pursued by Bear in 2005 after a chance handshake with Walla Walla winemaker Eric Dunham. The winery's name honors Shakespeare's most absurd stage direction from The Winter's Tale, melding theatrical craft with viticulture in the heart of the Columbia Valley.
