Nicolas Joly — Coulee de Serrant

Nicolas Joly is the spiritual godfather of biodynamic viticulture. Coulee de Serrant is one of France's seven single-vineyard AOCs. The wines are grown on south-facing schist terraces above the Loire from old vines. Joly's book became the biodynamic manifesto.

Coulee de Serrant is among France's most historically significant white wines. Controversial but a fundamental reference for Savennières and Loire Chenin philosophy.
