Vietti

Barolo DOCG, Italy
Vietti in Castiglione Falletto is one of Piedmont's most historically significant estates — Alfredo Currado began labeling single-vineyard Barolo in the 1960s, predating the modern single-vineyard movement. The estate produces Barolo from five crus (Lazzarito, Brunate, Rocche, Castiglione, Villero) and Barbaresco from Masseria. Luca Currado (son-in-law) is the current winemaker. Now owned by the Krause family (US); quality has remained very high.
Vietti is a historically important estate and produces some of Barolo's finest single-vineyard expressions. Broad distribution including BC.
