Philosophy
Nonino in Percoto (Friuli) transformed Italian grappa from a rough farm spirit into an elegant, respected digestif category. Giannola Nonino created the first single-varietal grappa in 1973 (ÙE — from Picolit grapes) and pioneered distilling fresh, moist pomace rather than dry pomace. Nonino Monovitigno grappas showcase the aromatic character of individual grape varieties — Moscato, Picolit, Merlot.
Reputation
Nonino is the reference producer for premium Italian grappa. Amaro Nonino Quintessentia is among Italy's most complex and celebrated amari. Strong BC distribution through specialty retailers.
