Vega Sicilia

Vega Sicilia is Spain's most prestigious wine estate — founded in 1864 in Valbuena de Duero and producing Unico, Spain's most celebrated and age-worthy red wine. Unico is a blend of Tempranillo with a proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, aged minimum 10 years before release (Tinto Fino 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 24%, Merlot and others). The estate is owned by the Álvarez family and also produces Valbuena 5, Pintia (Toro), and Alion (Ribera del Duero).

Vega Sicilia Unico is Spain's most iconic wine — collected internationally. The estate pioneered premium Spanish wine before the modern boom. Limited allocation; BC through specialist importers.
