Kir-Yianni

Kir-Yianni was founded by Yiannis Boutaris (of the Boutaris family) in 1997 in Yianakohori, Naoussa — Xinomavro's heartland. The estate produces Diaporos, a single-vineyard Xinomavro considered one of Greece's greatest red wines, and Ramnista, the estate's flagship Naoussa OPAP. Xinomavro's combination of high acidity, high tannin, and cherry-tomato-olive character makes it one of the world's most distinctive indigenous red varieties.

Kir-Yianni is the reference for serious Naoussa Xinomavro. Diaporos is among Greece's most age-worthy red wines. Growing international recognition.
