Elisabetta Fagiuoli's estate in San Gimignano is the spiritual home of Vernaccia di San Gimignano — producing wines of unusual depth and age-worthiness from a variety often dismissed as light and simple. The Tradizionale (skin contact) and Fiore (direct press) demonstrate the range the Vernaccia grape is capable of.
