Abacela Winery

Earl and Hilda Jones founded Abacela in 1995 after exhaustive climate research determined that the Umpqua Valley's temperature profile matched Ribera del Duero more closely than any other American region for tempranillo. The project is explicitly agricultural science applied to viticulture.
