La Rioja Alta is the standard-bearer for traditional Rioja Gran Reserva — the 904 (nine hundred and four) and 890 expressions represent over a century of dedication to the Bordón style: extended American oak aging, multiple vintage blending in exceptional years, and release only when fully ready. The 904 Gran Reserva spends a minimum of 4 years in American oak; the 890 spends 4+ years and is released only in outstanding vintages. This is Rioja as the classics intended.
