Jacques Puffeney

Jacques Puffeney (retired 2014, now produced by Bénédicte and Stéphane Tissot) was the greatest traditional-style Arbois producer — his Vin Jaune and Savagnin were the benchmarks for the oxidative Jura style. The Tissot family continues the Puffeney legacy with the same old vineyards in Arbois.

Jacques Puffeney was the ambassador of authentic Jura winemaking for 40 years — his Vin Jaune and Trousseau d'Arbois became the reference expressions for traditional Jura. Now continued by the Tissot family with the same vineyards and philosophy.
