Lulu and Lucien Peyraud established Domaine Tempier as Bandol's defining estate beginning in the 1950s. Lulu Peyraud's legendary Provençal cooking — documented in Kermit Lynch's Lulu's Provençal Table — made Domaine Tempier the most culinarily connected wine estate in France. The single-vineyard La Tourtine, La Migoua, and Cabassaou bottlings are Bandol's most celebrated expressions.
