Concha y Toro Casablanca
Philosophy
Concha y Toro's Casablanca Valley operations produce the estate's finest white wines and Pinot Noir — the Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay and the Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc demonstrate that Chile's greatest white wine potential lies in the Pacific-influenced cool valleys, not the warmer inland. The winery's research into Casablanca sub-regional terroir has expanded since 2000.
Reputation
Concha y Toro's Casablanca operations have been central to establishing Chile's cool-climate wine identity — the Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc demonstrated that Chile could produce SB of international class, and the Marques Chardonnay remains the benchmark for the variety in the country.
