Quinta de Gomariz in the Lima subzone is one of Vinho Verde's most respected single estates — farming Loureiro on granite soils to produce wines of remarkable aromatic complexity and mineral freshness. The estate Vinho Verde Loureiro shows the variety's characteristic white flower, citrus, and mineral character at its most expressive. The Seleção de Vinhas Velhas (old vine selection) demonstrates that Vinho Verde can achieve complexity and concentration rarely associated with the appellation's light, fresh reputation.
