Bouchard Père et Fils is one of Burgundy's most important domain-négociants, holding 130 hectares of vineyard including exceptional Beaune premier cru monopoles. Their Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus in Beaune Grèves is among Burgundy's most celebrated monopole sites — a 3.6-hectare parcel of old Pinot Noir producing wines of exceptional concentration and finesse. The estate was acquired by Champagne Joseph Henriot in 1995, bringing investment that transformed quality across the portfolio.
Reputation
Bouchard Père et Fils holds DRC and Leroy-level respect for their monopole Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus in Beaune Grèves. Wine Spectator and Decanter regularly award 95+ points for top vintages. Jancis Robinson and Neal Martin regard the Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus as one of Burgundy's great monopoles, rivalling Grand Cru wines in quality and cellar-worthiness.
