Domaine Armand Rousseau is the benchmark producer of Gevrey-Chambertin, holding some of the most coveted parcels in the Côte de Nuits including Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Clos St-Jacques, and several other premier and grand crus. Charles Rousseau's traditional approach — long fermentation with whole clusters, extended maceration, gentle handling — produces Pinot Noir of extraordinary depth, complexity, and age-worthiness. The domaine is widely regarded as Gevrey-Chambertin's finest address and one of Burgundy's great estates.
