Clos Triguedina
Philosophy
Clos Triguedina is one of Cahors' oldest and most historically significant estates, farmed by the Baldès family for five generations. The estate's Probus cuvée — named for the Roman Emperor who permitted Gallic viticulture — is made exclusively from a single hectare of Malbec vines planted in 1963, producing one of Cahors' most concentrated and age-worthy expressions. The estate's respect for tradition and long aging protocols represent the authentic Cahors style.
Reputation
Clos Triguedina represents Cahors' living history, with the Baldès family's five generations of unbroken viticulture connecting the appellation's medieval past to its contemporary quality renaissance.
