Henri de Saint-Victor's high-altitude Bandol estate at 300m on pure Triassic limestone produces the appellation's most elegant and age-worthy Mourvèdre. Pibarnon's elevation — unusually cool for Bandol — creates wines of finer tannin and greater aromatic complexity than lower-lying estates.
