The founding estate of Finger Lakes fine wine, established in 1962 by the Ukrainian viticulturist who proved vinifera varieties could thrive in the Finger Lakes. Now in its third generation under Meaghan Frank, the estate crafts an extensive range from its Keuka Lake vineyards, with the Rkatsiteli — an ancient Georgian variety — and the single-vineyard Magdalena Vineyard Riesling among the most distinctive offerings. Dr. Frank's success inspired a generation of Finger Lakes winemakers.
