Bodega Bouza

Canelones, Uruguay
A family winery in Canelones producing some of Uruguay's most complex and age-worthy Tannat from old-vine parcels on clay-limestone soils. The Bouza family has farmed these vineyards for three generations and the estate's old vines (planted in the 1940s–60s) produce wines of unusual depth and complexity. Their Monte Vide Eu Tannat — a prestige selection from the oldest parcels — is considered among Uruguay's most serious wines.
