The foremost producer of Montlouis — the winemaker who essentially created the modern reputation of the appellation through his biodynamic approach and commitment to indigenous yeasts, old vines, and minimal intervention. Chidaine farms biodynamically and produces an extensive range of Chenin Blanc across both Montlouis and Vouvray from multiple lieu-dits. His dry Montlouis (notably Les Bournais and Les Choisilles) are among the Loire's finest dry whites and have attracted international critical acclaim.
