Brazil's most internationally celebrated sparkling wine producer, founded by Chilean oenologist Mario Geisse in 1979. Cave Geisse's traditional method sparkling wines — produced from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown at altitude in the Serra Gaúcha highlands — have won major international awards and demonstrated that Brazil can produce serious sparkling wine to match European standards. The Geisse Brut Nature is considered one of South America's finest sparkling wines.
