Williams Selyem

Sonoma County, USA
The founding estate of the California Pinot Noir renaissance — Burt Williams and Ed Selyem produced tiny quantities of extraordinary Russian River Valley Pinot Noir in the 1980s from a garage in Healdsburg, eventually commanding mailing list positions that defined California wine cult status. Now owned by John Dyson, the estate continues the tradition of vineyard-designate Pinot Noirs from the greatest Russian River and Sonoma Coast sites. Rochioli, Allen, Drake, and Precious Mountain remain benchmark designates.
