The founding and most important estate of modern Israeli fine wine — established in 1983 at Katzrin on the Golan Heights plateau. The Yarden label (top tier), Gamla, and Golan brands cover a comprehensive range from sparkling to dessert wine, all produced from high-altitude volcanic basalt vineyards. Yarden Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon have repeatedly performed above expectation in international blind tastings, establishing the Golan Heights as Israel's most credible fine wine region.
